Peyote Bird Chip Inlay Pin/Pendant Attributed to Tommy Singer and His Family

$550.00

Tommy Singer, Navajo, passed away at the age of 74. Working in his studio in Winslow, Arizona, surrounded by many family members, he mastered the art of chip inlay.  This sterling pin of a peyote bird, has inlaid coral, turquoise, and onyx.  The hallmark on the back seems to be initials HR.  When I asked acclaimed Native American Art Dealer, Joe Tanner, about this pin he said, "It sure looks like Tommy Singer's work.  He did have family members helping him in his studio and they may have placed their initials on the back."

2 1/4" long 2" wide

Circa 1960's
